Stagecoach Restaurant

Nestled in the hillside above the lodge, the Stagecoach Restaurant offers panoramic views of the surrounding cliffs, mesas and teetering structures of Monument Valley. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu features an extensive mix of authentic Southwestern and native Navajo cuisine, along with classic steaks and vegetarian options. A favorite dish is the Navajo Taco, made fresh with homemade frybread.

Due to Navajo Tribal Law, alcohol cannot be sold on the Reservation, including at the Stagecoach. However, a selection of non-alcoholic beer and wine is available.

Reservations are not required. Banquet and meeting facilities are available for private functions with advanced booking. Call 435-727-3231 for more information.

Two eggs scrambled with sausage, bell peppers, onions, and cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla, then smothered with green chili sauce, cheese and tomatoes. Served with hash browns, sour cream, and salsa.

CORNED BEEF HASH & EGGS
Two eggs cooked any style served with grilled corned beef hash. Served with toast.

COUNTRY FRIED STEAK & EGGS
A breaded beef patty covered with country gravy, two eggs (any style) with hash browns and toast.

CROISSANT SANDWICH
A toasted flaky croissant, layered with two scrambled eggs, sliced ham and cheddar cheese. Served with hashbrowns.

Frybread is a Traditional staple of Navajo meals. It is made from white flour, baking powder, salt, and warm water. The dough is deep-fried to make a light and puffy bread. It is often served with Beef Stew or as part of a Navajo Taco. It also makes a perfect addition to any meal.

NAVAJO HUEVOS RANCHEROS
Two eggs (any style) served open face on frybread, then topped with green chili sauce and grated cheese. Served with Mexican chili beans.

A seven oz. choice charbroiled New York Strip, two eggs (any style) with hashbrowns and toast.

Navajo Frybread Specialties

NAVAJO FRYBREAD
Frybread is a Traditional staple of Navajo meals. It is made from white flour, baking powder, salt, and warm water. The dough is deep-fried to make a light and puffy bread. It is often served with Beef Stew or as part of a Navajo Taco. It also makes a perfect addition to any meal.

LARGE NAVAJO TACO
A large Navajo Frybread layered with chili con-carne., grated cheese, diced onions, shredded lettuce, and diced tomatoes.
A vegetarian version is available upon request

MINI NAVAJO TACO
A smaller version of the Traditional Navajo Frybread layered with chili con-carne, cheese, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes.
A vegetarian version is available upon request

HAMBURGER STEAK ON NAVAJO FRYBREAD
Grilled 1/2 pound ground beef, topped with onions and brown gravy. Choice of side.

BEEF VEGETABLE STEW w/ FRYBREAD
Chunks of seasoned beef browned and then cooked with potatoes, carrots, corn, onion, celery, and tomatoes in a full flame brown sauce.

SPICY PORK GREEN CHILI SAUCE w/ FRYBREAD
A mixture of Carnitas and Carne Asada pork sautéed with onions, tomatoes, and roasted green chilis. If you like spicy, this is it!

CHILI CON CARNE w/ FRYBREAD
A spicy mixture, containing chili peppers, ground beef, tomatoes, onions, red beans, and spices.

GOULDING’S HAMBURGER
Our delicious 8-ounce oval patty flame broiled burger served on a sesame seed bun with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickle.

DI BAH NEEZ BURGER
Hand formed from our own ground lamb. Try our mutton burger with a slice of red onion and feta cheese.

REZ BAH SANDWICH
Your choice of 8-ounces sliced roast beef, 8-ounces sliced ham, 8-ounce chicken breast or two 1/4 pound hamburger patties. Topped with green chili strips, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. All wrapped in
a Navajo frybread and served with a side of Goulding’s special sauce.

WRANGLER'S CHILI SIZE

A delightful salad with fresh lettuce, grape tomatoes, baby carrot sticks, English cucumbers, mixed chopped ham, turkey, topped with shredded cheese and boiled eggs.

Three spicy breaded chicken strips on top of a fresh salad, accompanied with your choice of dressing.

CHICKEN FAJITA BURRITO
Charbroiled chicken strips layered with peppers and onions wrapped in a flour tortilla smothered with green chili sauce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and a side of sour cream. Served with Mexican beans and rice.

SOUTHWEST STIR FRY
Our stir fry is loaded with an array of vegetables and flavors, over a mound of herbal rice and noodles. Served with an eggroll.

PASTA DU JOUR
Whether tossed with our marinara or alfredo sauce, enjoy our pasta dishes with garlic bread. Grilled chicken strips or grilled shrimp may be added for an additional cost.

PATTY MELT
Grilled onions, swiss cheese, and a juicy half-pound patty served all on grilled rye bread.

FRENCH DIP
Delicious thin sliced beef on a hoagie roll served with our mouthwatering au jus sauce.

TUNA SALAD SANDWICH
Tuna, mixed with mayonnaise, celery, sweet pickle relish, and onion. Choice of bread.

Entrees

All steaks are grilled to your specifications. Steaks are topped off with a bourbon sauce of sautéed mushrooms and onions. Comes with a choice of baked potato, mashed potatoes, herbal rice or French fries, and vegetable of the day.

THE HARRY GOULDING CUT
An 8-ounce New York Strip. A USDA Choice steak seasoned and broiled over an open flame to enhance its natural flavors.

STAGECOACH STEAK
A 10-ounce Ribeye Steak. A USDA choice steak seasoned with garlic and herbs broiled over an open flame to enhance its natural flavors.

THE COWBOY CUT
A 16-ounce T-bone Steak grilled to your specifications. Topped off with a bourbon sauce of sautéed mushroom and onions.

WESTERN PORK CHOPS
Two 5-ounce center cut, bone-in pork chops seared to a golden brown.

GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST
8-ounce butterflied chicken breast, marinated in olive oil, seasoned with salt, black pepper, lemon garlic, and rosemary. Grilled to juicy perfection.

GRILLED SALMON
8-ounces of Pacific Salmon filet grilled over an open flame served in an herb garlic butter with a hint of lemon.
